GENERAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY FOR ELLIS CREATIONS In compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GPDR) 2016/679, I have updated my privacy policy. This privacy policy details how I use and protect any information that you give me. Any client details are given to me in the knowledge that they enable a working relationship. This is the lawful basis for having any information. What data do I collect? I receive contact details from you – name, phone and/or email address or postal address. What do I do with your information? I do not share my client information, or pass any details to third parties. My website does not use cookies to share your information. My website does not have an attached database. Security I keep all your information secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure I have a firewalled router, password protected devices, anti-virus and malware software installed. Paper documents and records are kept in a secure filing system. Controlling your information Every client has a paper job sheet which will be kept for two years and then shredded. Emails and texts are deleted within six months of a job completion. You are entitled to have your details edited or removed at any time. Please contact me on 01582 799012 if you wish this. I sometimes use photos of materials or garments in progress. Special event garments will not be put on the website before the event date. I only show clients wearing finished garments when I have their permission.
